The Convenor of the Independent Review (PBS) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join the Register of Prospective Reviewers. This register will be used by the Convenor to select a reviewer when an application for review is received from a sponsor of a submission to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC).
The primary task for a reviewer will be to prepare a report for consideration by the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) on the issue(s) identified by an applicant for review. The outcomes of the review will be made publicly available. Further information about the work of reviewers can be found at Information for Reviewers.

Reviewers will be remunerated on a fee for service basis.
If you are interested in registering as a prospective reviewer please send an expression of interest to the Convenor at the address below and further information will be dispatched to you. Please note, however, that acceptance on to the register of prospective reviewers does not carry any assurance that you will be selected to undertake a review.

People on the Register of Prospective Reviewers will be required to complete the declaration at Attachment A of the Conflict of Interest Guidelines and Declaration for Prospective Reviewers (PDF 47 KB).
